Four parts cover I) peace research epistemology; II) conflicts, families and vulnerable people; III) peacekeeping, peacebuilding and transitional justice; and IV) peace and education. Part I deals with peace ecology, transformative peace, peaceful societies, Gandhi’s non-violent policy and disobedient peace. Claes Oldenburg, the artist who set new terms for sculpture in the 1960s, is best known for his soft sculptures and his giant monuments of ordinary objects. Because they have been less well documented, Oldenburg's performances have not been fully integrated into the critical discourse surrounding his work. In Raw Notes, Oldenburg has scrupulously collected all of the material relating to his performances. According to his specifications, the text in the book is typed rather then set and appears on only one side of the page. Examples of the original manuscript are reproduced in sixty-three script plates, including stage plans, scores, sketches for programs, and posters. More than two hundred annotations by the author expand the text. Raw Notes will be indispensable as a document of these important aspects of Oldenburg's work.

The contributing authors of this multidisciplinary text agree that workplace learning truly is extraordinary when it is marked by structural congruence and a positive synergy among the intended and formal preparation of professionals, that tacit learning occurs within the hidden curriculum, and that the subsequent demands, both formal and tacit, are embedded in subsequent workplace settings. This Handbook provides an authoritative overview of current issues and debates in the field of health care management. It contains over twenty chapters from well-known and eminent academic authors, who were carefully selected for their expertise and asked to provide a broad and critical overview of developments in their particular topic area.
