Author Stuart Holroyd, a skeptical but well-informed, open-minded researcher of the paranormal, became observer to a remarkable group of U.S. psychics headed by a famous American scientist, Andrija Puharich, and an English aristocrat, Sir John Whitmore. The group, called "Lab Nine" or "The Council of Nine," claimed they had made contact with galactic intelligences circling the earth, called "The Nine." The group claimed that The Nine was "selecting" human minds and interacting with them, thus hastening our evolution, a claim that raises the following questions: Did three of the "selected" minds help to avert a world disaster? Was the group in constant communication with extraterrestrials? Was it possible for these alien intelligences to effect a landing on Earth? Had these intelligences, in fact, already visited Earth in previous centuries, spurring our legends of "ancient aliens?" The story of The Nine was accepted and believed by many influential people, and has become one of the enduring legends of the 20th century, still discussed today by ufologists, parapsychologists, and interested scientists. A Hollywood writer, Gene Roddenberry, became so much of a "believer" in The Nine that he wrote a TV series exploring the same issues: "Star Trek" - one of the most popular sci-fi franchises of all time. As a nod to The Nine, Roddenberry used the name "Deep Space Nine" in the series.

The Nine: Briefing From Deep Space (originally titled Briefing For a Landing on Planet Earth) tells the story of a group of inter-dimensional beings called "The Nine" who are trying to save us from ourselves and in turn save the planet from being destroyed. This spiritual, religious, and new age geopolitical tale includes seemingly outlandish accounts of extraterrestrial civilizations such as Hoova from which the "chosen" descendants of Abraham originate, while Israel we are told is a microcosm of our planet, which in turn is a microcosm of the universe. The protagonists are Andrija Puharich, a scientist, Phyllis Schlemmer, a medium, and Sir John Whitmore, the funder of their activities. During the 1970s, other notable individuals like Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek and Lyle Watson, author of Supernature were also involved with the group. The premise of the story is that Earth is on the brink of catastrophe, and before that happens, other civilizations will come to help. However, despite the anticipation, no landing of extraterrestrial beings has occurred yet, leading to accusations that the story was a CIA plot or a hoax orchestrated by spirit entities referred to by Colin Wilson, who wrote the foreword, as "crooks and conmen of the Spirit World." Certainly, as with any drama there's an antagonist, which in this case are known as The Opposition who are negatives forces outside this dimension capable of influencing us all. The book explores various claims made by the group, including their communication and interaction with extraterrestrial intelligences, the possibility of an alien landing on Earth, and the idea that ancient aliens may have visited our planet in the past, inspiring legends. Whether considered fact or science fiction, "The Nine" presents an intriguing narrative, challenging readers to ponder the questions raised about the selected human minds averting disasters and the role of extraterrestrial intelligences in our evolution.

In recent years, alternative historians have gained remarkable insight into the mysteries of ancient Egypt—but according to Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince, their discoveries tie into a dangerous conspiracy nearly fifty years in the making. At the center of this conspiracy is a group of respected, powerful individuals who believe that the ancient Egyptian gods are really extraterrestrials who will soon return to earth. The conspirators have intimate and exclusive knowledge of this momentous second coming—but they insist on keeping it to themselves. What could be the purpose of such a conspiracy? Why are the conspirators so desperate to keep their information a secret? And what does it mean for mankind? In this riveting, well-researched book, Picknett and Price offer compelling evidence that the conspiracy exists—and expose the insidious motivations of the individuals and organizations behind it....
