This book highlights the ongoing trend of brief treatments in psychotherapy for child and adolescent populations. Whereas their therapeutic predecessors may have taken 15 to 20 one-hour sessions or more, these newer therapies may begin to alleviate symptoms in only weeks, days, or even hours on the same day.
