Albert Pike is most known for his writings on the Scottish Rite. But, he also wrote significant works on other aspects of Freemasonry as well as pieces on law, politics, poetry and a host of other subjects. William L. Boyden served as Librarian of the Supreme Council, SJUSA for many years and created a Masonic book classification system used today by a significant number of Masonic libraries. His detailed bibliography of the works of Albert Pike is a valuable resource for any student of Albert Pike or the AASR.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.
