This bull updates isgs Bulletin 92, Bibliography and Index of Illinois Geology through 1965. This current publicatio includes citations for all of the field of research at the Illinois State Geological Survey, including (but not limited to) geology, groundwater, industrial minerals, petroleum, coal, environmental geology, geochemistry and geophysics. Publications are included only if they relate specifically to Illinois. Monographs, journal articles, conference proceedings, theses, maps, guidebooks, and reports are among the publications cited. In addition to the citations from 1966 to 1996, eleven titles are included that were published prior to 1966 but omitted from Bulletin 92.
