The G.K. Hall "Bibliographic Guide to Business and Economics" lists current publications cataloged during the past year by the Library of Congress and The Research Libraries of The New York Public Library. Selection of titles from LC MARC tapes is based on the LC classification HA through HJ. Entries from NYPL are selected on the following basis: if an NYPL record contains two or more subject headings that correspond to two or more subject headings from MARC business and economics records, then that NYPL record is included in the Guide. LC subject headings from all business and economics records in the entire MARC database are scanned to provide comprehensive selection of NYPL business and economics titles.
