Most evangelical Christians believe that those people who are not saved before they die will be punished in hell forever. But is this what the Bible truly teaches? Do Christians need to rethink their understanding of hell? In the late twentieth century, a growing number of evangelical theologians, biblical scholars, and philosophers began to reject the traditional doctrine of eternal conscious torment in hell in favor of a minority theological perspective called conditional immortality. This view contends that the unsaved are resurrected to face divine judgment, just as Christians have always believed, but due to the fact that immortality is only given to those who are in Christ, the unsaved do not exist forever in hell. Instead, they face the punishment of the "second death"--an end to their conscious existence. This volume brings together excerpts from a variety of well-respected evangelical thinkers, including John Stott, John Wenham, and E. Earl Ellis, as they articulate the biblical, theological, and philosophical arguments for conditionalism. These readings will give thoughtful Christians strong evidence that there are indeed compelling reasons for rethinking hell.

May Our Incense Rise is a book born out of experience and understanding that our fellowship with God is proven in the incense we offer. The primary focus is relationship and a faithful commitment to worship. We offer the keys of how to stay committed to your relationship with Jesus Christ in the difficult times by giving examples of many saints endured the test of the times, and thereby obtaining a closer walk with God through the process. With an understanding that the pain and suffering God allows are necessary for spiritual growth and development in our quest for a transforming walk with Christ. So we invite you to come along with us on this journey through the metamorphosis of this life to someday fly away into heights to Gods eternal kingdom and palatial places on high. I was born in a small town called Chiefland Fl, and at the age of six we moved to Gainesville Fl, where we lived for the remainder of my childhood and teenage upbringing. The days seemed longer and we actually played outside all day long. While growing up I enjoyed playing football and basketball. I graduated from Buchholz High School in 1981 and served six years in the military, (1981-1987). I became a Christian in Okinawa Japan in 1982 and that is where my spiritual journey began. As a teenager I was inspired by my uncle to write poetry. I believe the gift has always been there, I just didn't have the audacity to believe I could appeal to such a vase audience. Writing this book was both a privilege and honour and I pray that your hearts will be blessed by it.

Women in the Ministry of Jesus is a study of both of Jesus' attitudes towards women as reflected in his words and deeds, and of the women who were part of his ministry, or who interacted with him according to the Gospel accounts. The book seeks to provide a balanced analysis of the relevant Biblical material, and also the historical background necessary to illuminate the setting of the Gospel events. Particular attention is given to related issues such as Jesus' views on marriage, the family and the single life, as well as his teaching on adultery, the laws of the clean and unclean and the sabbath. Witherington concludes that Jesus cannot be categorized neatly either as chauvinist or as feminist.
