While they're in there, Zagan's beloved bride Nephy is... turned into a little girl!? The precocious little Nephy is cute in her own right, but there's no way Zagan can just leave her be! Will Zagan and the others find the culprit behind Nephy's curse before it's too late?

Having finally revealed themself before Zagan at the evening ball, Archdemon Bifrons unleashes a dreadful sludge monster upon everyone present. Bifrons's own servant Nephteros quickly falls prey to the beast and is absorbed as part of the monster. Despite her past antagonism, Nephy pleads with Zagan to save the poor girl from her miserable fate. Not one to turn down a request from his bride, Zagan sets forth to do the impossible as sorcerers and Angelic Knights alike must now band together in a desperate fight for survival!

Nephy learns of Zagan’s impending birthday from Alshiera, which is information that Zagan himself doesn’t even know. Seeing this as an opportunity, Nephy leads the charge in putting together a surprise party for him, but with her past experiences being what they are, she has no idea how birthdays are celebrated. Meanwhile, Zagan also learns from Orias that Nephy’s birthday is coming within the month, and the two Archdemons decide to mark that day as Nephteros’s birthday as well. Much like Nephy, however, Zagan is ignorant of how birthdays work as he tries to plan a surprise for her. The entire castle is in a celebratory mood, but dark clouds loom over the horizon. Zagan knows of a terrible problem haunting Nephteros that has to be addressed before any sort of celebration is an option, and he still has no idea how to resolve it. What’s more, after a month of relative peace and quiet, Shere Khan and Bifrons finally make their move.

A month of peaceful days have passed since Bifrons's hectic evening ball. Having gained many new followers, Zagan's castle is now bustling with activity. After everyone has settled in, Nephy asks Zagan if she can visit her old home to find information on high elves. As such, the group heads off to the northern holy lands, to the hidden elven village, but somebody is already there awaiting their arrival...
