The twenty associates were the group that initially owned the Waldo patent, with Samuel Waldo being a member. Also signed by Charles Barrett, David Cobb, John Wills and Thomas Cobb.

Appears to be a draft of an agreement between Henry Knox, William Bingham, and Joseph Anthony and his firm. The agreement possibly involves lands in Maine and the sale prices of the lands. Date was added later in pen but appears to be taken from the content of letter written at the end of the last page.
