Report by the CA Bureau of State Audits concerning improvements needed to better protect California's groundwater from contamination by gasoline components & additives. It concludes that in spite of mounting evidence of gasoline contamination of CA drinking water, the Dept. of Health Services & the State Water Resources Control Board missed opportunities to aggressively address the problem. Chap. 1: the State has not exerted leadership in addressing gasoline contamination of drinking-water sources.
