The biggest, most successful businesses you can think of all started small and grew their way to massive success. What was their secret? Is there something those companies have in common—from Microsoft to McDonald's to U.S. Steel—that helped them grow from small businesses to globe-spanning corporations? The answer is "yes," and it's right here. The common thread between all big-growth companies is their reliance on the art of what online business pioneer Mark Joyner calls Integration Marketing to spur methodical, reliable growth from one level to the next. Joyner's Integration Marketing theory is a radically new business approach that has already built a fanatical base of tens of thousands of entrepreneurs who are using it to pull off what some are referring to as "business miracles" with a zero-dollar ad budget. Now, Mark Joyner finally puts this amazing business-transforming methodology down on paper and shows you how to apply it to your own business, no matter its size. Integration Marketing is a simple, innovative, and effective system that helps you find hidden marketing opportunities, bring in a limitless supply of new customers, and grow your business steadily, predictably, and strategically. Most importantly, it takes the guesswork out of marketing by using predictive math to gauge the likelihood of success for any new marketing opportunity—before you commit time and resources to it. Even better, once you put Integration Marketing to work in your business, the methodology will continue to work without any additional effort. No longer will you miss out on profit opportunities that are right under your nose. You'll be able to see your competitive battlefield clearly and develop a flexible, intelligent strategy that will keep your business in the black. This isn't just some new buzzword for the same old ideas—it's a complete suite of strategic tools that make marketing accountable, reliable, predictable, and effective. It's not complicated and it's not a magic bullet; it's a straightforward, proven system for getting exactly what you and your business need to grow—more profit faster.

This book systematically investigates the strategic significance and dynamic mechanisms present in the development of the Yangtze River Delta cluster, one of the major drivers of economic growth in China. The Yangtze River Delta is the most densely populated region in China, with the highest level of economic development. Against the background of China’s national strategy that aims to bolster and augment integrated development on the regional level, this study reviews the development process of the region and possible hindrances to further growth. From a wide array of dimensions, it assesses the key influencing factors, including institutional construction, governance mechanisms, spatial layout, government and corporate competition, the market environment, industrial linkages and synergies, collaborative innovation, public service, and social networks. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical studies, the book advances policy suggestions that help to solve the challenges for integrated development in the region. The volume will benefit scholars and students, as well as investors, business observers, and policy makers interested in the Chinese economy, regional economics, industrial economics, and economic geography.

East Asian nations through the dialogue between ASEAN and its partners have been promoting energy market integration (EMI) for a decade. The formation of the East Asian Summit (EAS) group in 2005 adds new momentum to the EMI course in the region. The objective of this edited volume is to present new insights into the understanding of EMI in East Asia and draw implications for further development. This book is the first publication of its kind exclusively focusing on EMI in East Asia. The chapters are written by a distinguished group of specialists in the field of energy policy, business and economics. The covered topics range from the general debates about EMI to regional policy responses. A variety of qualitative and quantitative methods are employed in this book. For qualitative methods, public goods theory and the comparative study method are two examples. The quantitative methods include economic growth theory, principle component approach, input-output table, computable general equilibrium (CGE) models and econometric techniques. Important policy implications can be drawn from the findings. One clear message is that EMI should be promoted actively but in a gradual, incremental manner. Other policy implications are related to inter-regional governance, infrastructure development and gas market integration. The content has not been published elsewhere and hence makes a unique contribution to the literature. There are also case studies of specific energy sectors such as petroleum and natural gas. Overall this book should be of interest to a wide audience such as academia, business analysts and policy makers.

High-Value Supply Chain Integration New research, practical priorities, actionable solutions Master new best practices for integrating demand, supply, and partners worldwide Bridge key “integration gaps” to maximize customer value and profit Improve performance in areas ranging from resource availability to returns From leading supply chain integration experts at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business In volatile, global environments, only well-integrated organizations can deliver superior customer outcomes and sustained profitability. Supply chain practitioners are on the frontlines of integration: they must bring together functions ranging from sales to logistics and a world of third-party suppliers. Integration is not easy, but proven solutions exist. In Achieving Supply Chain Integration, leading experts reveal what works and how to make it work. The authors and contributors clarify what supply chain integration really means, and why it’s even more crucial than many companies realize. You’ll learn how to manage core conflicts that make integration difficult, so you can maximize value to both customers and your organization. You’ll find example-based, research-driven insights for both internal and external integration, addressing issues ranging from culture to financial metrics. The authors share practical guidance on everything from building more innovative partner relationships to avoiding raw material shortages. Whatever your supply chain or operations responsibilities, you need to integrate more effectively, and this guide will help you do it. Supply chain integration can ensure a smoother, more efficient flow of products, and enable access to third-party resources and capabilities that would be costly or impossible to build internally. However, successful integration has proven challenging, especially as supply chains evolve to encompass even more external partners. Achieving Supply Chain Integration shows how to prioritize which processes and functions to integrate and select integration strategies likely to deliver the greatest performance benefits. Drawing on actual successes and failures, UT’s researchers illuminate best practices and common mistakes. They present proven approaches to integrating sales, marketing, core supply chain functions such as procurement and logistics, and widely diverse partner relationships. Whether you’re a practitioner or student, this guide will help you approach integration projects with “eyes open”–so you can mitigate risks and maximize value. Understanding what integration is and isn’t, and why it matters so much Bridging the integration gap to maximize value creation Fully leveraging information in internal and external integration Driving more value by integrating purchasing and logistics Aligning market, environmental, social, and political strategies Achieving deeper demand/supply integration Reducing product returns through better internal integration Building more innovative, collaborative supplier relationships
