We search for the pair production of doubly charged Higgs particles followed by the lepton-flavor violating decay of each Higgs into electron-and-tau and muonand- tau pairs using 350 pb-1 of data collected by the CDF II experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron. Separate searches investigate cases where three or four finalstate leptons are detected, and the limits for each exclusive decay mode reflect the combined results of both searches. Assuming the H$±±\atop{L}$ decays exclusively into likesign electron-and-tau pairs, we set a lower limit on its mass of 114 GeV/c2 at the 95 % confidence level. In the case of exclusive muon-and-tau decays, we set a lower mass limit of 112 GeV/c2 also at the 95% confidence level.

The data collected at the TeVatron RunIIa have been used to look for supersymmetric charged Higgs boson and Left-Right suspersymmetric doubly charged Higgs boson. No signal of such bosons has been found and this note reports on the current analyses and their observed excluded domains in models parameter space.

Doubly-charged Higgs bosons ([Delta][sup --]/[Delta][sup++]) appear in several extensions to the Standard Model and can be relatively light. We review the theoretical motivation for these states and present a study of the discovery reach in future runs of the Fermilab Tevatron for pair-produced doubly-charged Higgs bosons decaying to like-sign lepton pairs. We also comment on the discovery potential at other future colliders. 16 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab.

One of the highest priority physics goals for the upgraded Tevatron experiments, CDF and D0, is the search for the Higgs boson. We present the initial results from both experiments, based on 40-90 pb−1 integrated luminosity, of Higgs searches in several final states, including WH and ZH, H --> WW, and doubly-charged Higgs.
