The "Investor's Guide to Health Maintenance Organizations" represents a unique effort on the part of the federal government to inform private investors about investing in health maintenance organizations (HMOs). The guide is aimed at sources of HMO investment, such as investment banking firms, venture capital firms, physician/administrator partnerships, commercial banks, health insurance companies, and other potential investors.The guide was originally prepared for the U. S.
