This volume provides biographical and genealogical data on nearly 1500 men who served as judges during the period of the Republic of Texas. It consists of an introduction outlining the court system of the Republic, biographical sketches of individual judges accompanied by photographs wherever possible, rosters of judges by office and county, and other information.
