Samuel Edson was born 1612 in England. He immigrated to America and married Susanna Orcutt in about 1637. They resided in Salem, Massachusetts and later settled in Bridgewater, Massachusetts by the year 1650. Samuel and Susanna were the parents of eight children. Samuel died in Massachusetts in about 1692. Descendants lived primarily in Massachusetts.
