This book contains the proceedings of the 1st Multidiscipline International Conference (MIC) 2021 will be an annual event hosted by Nusantara Training and Research (NTR). This year (2021), this event was held in collaboration with Nusantara Training and Research (NTR) with Universitas Borobudur Jakarta will be held on virtual conference in 30 October 2021 at Salatiga, Indonesia. We carry the theme "Improving People's Quality in Pandemic Era," trying to continue to synchronize with all aspects in the pandemic era and prepare to face the new normal, as well as future outlook of the field of Call for papers fields to be included in MIC. The scope of this event is multidisciplinary. Starting from social science, economics, education, law, engineering, religion and other sciences. This conference was attended by participants and delegates from various universities from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, and Japan. More than 100 participants from academics, practitioners and bureaucrats took part in this event to exchange knowledge according to their research results and competencies.

Data plays a vital role in different parts of our lives. In the world of big data, and policy determined by a variety of statistical artifacts, discussions around the ethics of data gathering, manipulation and presentation are increasingly important. Ethics in Statistics aims to make a significant contribution to that debate. The processes of gathering data through sampling, summarising of the findings, and extending results to a population, need to be checked via an ethical prospective, as well as a statistical one. Statistical learning without ethics can be harmful for mankind. This edited collection brings together contributors in the field of data science, data analytics and statistics, to share their thoughts about the role of ethics in different aspects of statistical learning.

Instead of adapting to the changing climate, all the relevant groups in German society have joined forces to combat climate change. No attempt has been made to avoid technical efforts or costly measures. The energy transition and the Green Deal have tremendous consequences for the state, society and individuals. Public debate has tended to ignore these consequences and has failed to consider the cost. Dr. Fabian Brunner analyses the mode of operation of the energy transition and comes to the conclusion that it has set in motion a spiral that will fundamentally transform the German economic system rather than the global climate. Not only the climate has "points of no return" after which interventions will no longer be possible. This also applies to the economy – when these points have been passed, it will no longer be possible to prevent an ext- reme loss of prosperity for future generations.
