Wprld rice statistics, which is publised periodically by IRRI, presents comprehensive time series information related to rice. Data on rice production, trade, consumption, inputs, prices, and other related information are compiled from internationaland national statistics sources, personal communications, and from responses to questionnaire sent by the Social Science Division. The computerized database system, RICESTAT, is continually revised and updated to facilitate access to global information on rice. This edition, which brind us, in many cases, through 1993 and, in some cases, into 1994, includes revisions, updates, and additional information.
