A Catholic Layman’s View By: Nicholas Fuerst Nicholas Fuerst has previously published two short books: Thy Kingdom Come – My Life in God’s Kingdom, and Thy Will Be Done – Three Principles for Godly Living. As a lifelong Catholic Christian, Dr. Fuerst has held firmly to his faith and diligently pursued a deepening degree of knowledge, understanding, and experiences of his religious convictions. Sharing the Christian faith with others now propels him through the later years of his life. Being born and raised in Rochester, New York, he obtained his higher education in Buffalo, NY. He then trained in Family Medicine in Washington, Pennsylvania, where he completed forty-five years of medical practice and raised his family. He now continues to maintain committed family connections with his wife Patricia, their three sons and daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren. A variety of parish and community Christian service activities provide ongoing opportunities for him to practice his faith. Dr. Fuerst’s life’s perspective has convinced him of God’s ever-present love and guidance. He has always hoped he would be part of God’s blessings to others, and that one day eternal life with our Father in Heaven would be available to him, as well as to all of those whom God has placed in his life.

The purpose for this is to express how the Bible and the outcome of your life go hand in hand. You truly can determine the type of life you live by just reading and understanding the Bible. Think of the Bible as your personal guide; all the rules and answers are in this one book. Even after death you can still have eternal life, but only if you choose to follow it. The Bible and God is all you need to live a contended and blessed life, because God designed it that way. I do pray that this book helps you understand all the aspects of why and how the Bible can change your life. Please read His word carefully and open your heart, mind and soul to allow Him to take over.

Inside this book are guidelines that I believe one must follow if they are to rightly understand God's Word. If we follow these guidelines, we will be able to know God's will and his truth. God does not intend for us to know everything in this life for faith is crucial to the Christian life, but that which He is willing to share is there inside His Word. However, one must know how to approach it. This book not only show you how to do this, but gives examples of it being applied. It also covers many biblical doctrines using this format to show how these doctrines must be understood.
