The case study is a request from the country, including the Thai Government and the UN system, including the WHO Country Office. It showcases successes and challenges of the UN Thematic Working Group on NCD Prevention and Control in Thailand, and it is aimed at foreign policy makers to promote the establishment of similar multisectoral coordination mechanisms on NCD in other countries.

This report describes the outcomes of the UN NCD Task Force’s WHO-UNDP Joint Programme to catalyze multisectoral action for the prevention and control of NCDs and mental health in Africa (Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria and Uganda), the Caribbean (Guyana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago) and the Pacific (Fiji).
