This paradigm-shifting book helps believers understand the process of being transformed by God's grace and truth, and challenges them to be a part of the process of discipleship in the lives of their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Counseling One Another biblically presents and defends every believer's responsibility to work toward God's goal of conforming us to the image of His Son-a goal reached through the targeted form of intensive discipleship most often referred to as counseling. All Christians will find Counseling One Another useful as they make progress in the life of sanctification and as they discuss issues with their friends, children, spouses, and fellow believers, providing them with a biblical framework for life and one-another ministry in the body of Christ.

In this book, you will read testimonies of broken lives that have been changed by the power of God. Addiction knows no boundaries. Some Faith Farm Ministries' students have been abused, broken, prostituted, or convicted as criminals; some having served prison time. Others come as children from loving homes and a church background, but were sidetracked into drugs and alcohol by peer pressure. Some have been upstanding citizens who were involved in some kind of accident or sustained an injury that led to an addiction to prescription pain medicines and have lost everything. Others have been very well off financially and had their lives destroyed because of their addictions. Regardless of their circumstances, they have made a complete "U-TURN" in their lives. These are stories of lives transformed by the power of unconditional love and the grace of God. Dean Webb has done an excellent job of bringing a book to the reader that testifies of the grace, mercy, and goodness of the Lord, as He stands waiting, with open arms, to welcome home His prodigal sons and daughters, whose lives have been shattered by addiction. This book is a celebration of all who have passed through the gates of Faith Farm Ministries and were set free by the power of Almighty God. No one who made a choice to socially use a mood-altering substance intended to become addicted to it. Addiction is destructive for families, friends, finance, relationships, jobs, health, and really, anything that a person holds dear to their heart, including his own life, if he does not get help. An old Japanese proverb says, "First the man takes a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes the man." The same can be true for any mood-altering substance, when a man or a woman has an addictive personality. Webster's New World Dictionary defines rehabilitation as, "to restore to rank, reputation, etc., which one has lost; to put back in good condition." Faith Farm Ministries is NOT committed to putting "back in good condition." We are committed to regeneration. Webster's defines regeneration as, "spiritually reborn; renewed; to cause to be spiritually reborn; to be made anew." No one can argue that addiction is now at epidemic levels. Everyone knows someone; a loved one, a neighbor, a co-worker or friend who has addiction issues. Overcoming codependency can be as difficult a challenge as overcoming an addiction. Faith Farm lives out its purpose for our students daily: "Restoring Hope... One Life at a Time" and these are their stories. Please enjoy reading them.

Is it God’s will for us to just accept death as a given and ask no further questions? Are we to be left dangling in the dark about these things; left to subsist in the ever-present fear of such unannounced uncertainty – to take death as it comes without so much as batting an eyelid? Or could the opposite be true? Could God’s intent actually be for the whole human family to acknowledge death in its proper light – for us all to arrive at a point where we fully understand that which we need to, and are completely satisfied not to speculate any further as to what lays beyond it? For surely this is the line in the sand every soul needs to come to; a defining point past which there is no reason to step – a time, a place, a state of mind, a spiritual standpoint at which we stop striving and finally find rest in the arms of God’s providence.
