In 1965, Swami Shivom Tirth spent some time with his spiritual master Swami Vishnu Tirth Maharaj (Maharajshri) in Jagannathpuri. During the twenty days in Jagannathpuri, he enjoyed meditation and spiritual conversations with Maharajshri to his heart?s content. As such Maharajshri usually stayed in the divine state, but since there was no one here to disrupt this state, Maharajshri was constantly in a meditative state. Even while conversing, his state of divinity was maintained. This book is a compilation of Maharajshri?s experiences regarding Swami Gangadhar Tirth Maharaj and Kalikishore (Swami Narayan Tirth Dev Maharaj, Baba), which he discussed with the author in Jagannathpuri. Whatever Maharajshri experienced, he narrated it to the author verbatim. There was no mental interference by Maharajshri in these experiences. It was like someone watching the television and narrating it to you. Maharajshri?s inner-eyes were awake and active, hence everything was visible to him.

The test site at White Sands was about 35 miles southeast of Socorro, New Mexico. The project was top secret and local inhabitants of towns and adjacent ranches and farms were unaware of the magnitude and destiny of the top secret test. Alan Greenwood's mother related experiencing the test first hand and later watching a Movietone news article that mentioned no endangered population of worry closer than Albuquerque.".

"For nearly thirty years a serial killer has been hiding in plain sight. So has the key to an FBI agent's dark past. A family is murdered as they sleep. FBI Special Agent Nina Guerrera and her new team are tasked with determining whether there is any link between this attack and another triple homicide from four years earlier and more than two thousand miles away. In the process, they'll discover a serial killer so cunning that his grisly trail of death spanning nearly three decades has gone undetected. Each crime scene reminds Nina of the ghostly Latin folktale of La Llorona, which terrified her when she was an abandoned and vulnerable child. Now it's back to haunt her. Nina has known evil, but these macabre reenactments are as disturbing as they are baffling. Now she must uncover the meaning behind the rituals as the evidence leads her in an unexpected direction--far closer to home than anyone could have imagined. As the team narrows in on a suspect, the present collides with Nina's past in a twist of fate that forces her to make the ultimate sacrifice"--

History of the Inquisition in three volumes is a groundbreaking work on the subject of Inquisition, written by Henry Charles Lea, one of the main authorities on the subject. His goal was to present an impartial account of the institution as it existed during the earlier period. In order to accurately appreciate the process of its development and the results of its activity the author takes in consideration the factors controlling the minds and souls of men during these times. He recapitulates nearly all the spiritual and intellectual movements of the Middle Ages, glancing at the condition of society in certain of its phases. Beginning with the state of church in 12th and 13th century, the study includes various forms of heresy emerging throughout the European continent from Spain and France west, to Slavic countries in Eastern Europe. Lea particularly deals with various fields of inquisitorial activity, notably its utilization in political purposes. Though his study of the Inquisition was criticized for anti-Spanish bias, it is thoroughly researched and contains interesting details surrounding this notorious institution.
