IOTA is a novel cryptocurrency that uses distributed ledger technology based on directed acyclic graph data structure. Security of cryptocurrencies ought to be scrutinized in order to acquire esteemed security, attain trust, and accomplish indelible adoption. Although IOTA prefers resilient security controls, IOTA security is not yet well explored. Among all the propounded IOTA vulnerabilities that have been identified, we pragmatically exploit replay attack against IOTA. It further analyze the attack to perceive its impact. Attack methodology and proof of concept for the replay attack is presented. Our proposed exploitation methodology is based upon address reuse, while IOTA in default mode does not reuse addresses. Distrust and privation of balance can be some of the severe impacts of this vulnerability. This system introduces the Crypto Terminal, a new open device for securing blockchain wallets.

With effective climate change mitigation policies still under development, and with even the most aggressive proposals unable to halt climate change immediately, many decision makers are focusing unprecedented attention on the need for strategies to adapt to climate changes that are now unavoidable. The effects of climate change will touch every corner of the world's economies and societies; adaptation is inevitable. The remaining question is to what extent humans will anticipate and reduce undesired consequences of climate change, or postpone response until after climate change impacts have altered ecological and socioeconomic systems so significantly that opportunities for adaptation become limited. This book summarizes a National Research Council workshop at which presentations and discussion identified specific needs associated with this gap between the demand and supply of scientific information about climate change adaptation.

"This paper focuses on the aspects of uncertainty surrounding climate change and what a realistic policy that deals with this uncertainty would look like. Any sensible response to climate change should consist of both mitigation and adaptation. Because of the long time periods involved, mitigation and adaptation are inseparable issues. Measures to reduce emissions today will only change the climate many years into the future and will therefore impact on the extent of future adaptation. There are two aspects of adaptation addressed in this paper. The first is the need to provide the appropriate incentives for individual responses to climate change -- this requires clear establishment of property rights across a wide range of areas from managing water to pricing energy use. It also requires appropriately regulated markets for individuals to manage a range of different types of risk. The extent to which individuals have an incentive to invest in adaptation depends on the nature and clarity of the policies put in place for current and future mitigation. Greater policy uncertainty changes the incentives for investment in adaptation. The second part of the paper focuses on implementing an adaptable policy framework that can respond to information on climate change. Like individual adaptation, the key to a durable system for policy is the importance of establishing property rights and providing a mechanism for managing risk caused by changes in policy. This draws extensively on the book by Warwick J. McKibbin and Peter Wilcoxen, "Climate Change Policy After Kyoto: A Blueprint for a Realistic Approach" published in December 2002 by the Brookings Institution. Drawing on this book, the paper outlines important insights that economic theory offers for the design of sustainable climate policy in an uncertain world. We outline a clear framework that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions (mitigation) while guaranteeing that short-run costs of compliance will not be excessive, and encouraging adaptation of the economic structure to deal with future mitigation. This open access book focuses on both the theory and practice associated with the tools and approaches for decisionmaking in the face of deep uncertainty. It explores approaches and tools supporting the design of strategic plans under deep uncertainty, and their testing in the real world, including barriers and enablers for their use in practice. The book broadens traditional approaches and tools to include the analysis of actors and networks related to the problem at hand. It also shows how lessons learned in the application process can be used to improve the approaches and tools used in the design process. The book offers guidance in identifying and applying appropriate approaches and tools to design plans, as well as advice on implementing these plans in the real world. For decisionmakers and practitioners, the book includes realistic examples and practical guidelines that should help them understand what decisionmaking under deep uncertainty is and how it may be of assistance to them. Decision Making under Deep Uncertainty: From Theory to Practice is divided into four parts. Part I presents five approaches for designing strategic plans under deep uncertainty: Robust Decision Making, Dynamic Adaptive Planning, Dynamic Adaptive Policy Pathways, Info-Gap Decision Theory, and Engineering Options Analysis. Each approach is worked out in terms of its theoretical foundations, methodological steps to follow when using the approach, latest methodological insights, and challenges for improvement. In Part II, applications of each of these approaches are presented. Based on recent case studies, the practical implications of applying each approach are discussed in depth. Part III focuses on using the approaches and tools in real-world contexts, based on insights from real-world cases. Part IV contains conclusions and a synthesis of the lessons that can be drawn for designing, applying, and implementing strategic plans under deep uncertainty, as well as recommendations for future work.
