The Matriarch is an epic bridging the saga of a pre-neolithic family with their descendants in modern day. The novel is composed of a number of interwoven stories across different time periods.Set in 2021, the two principal characters have genetic and behavior links to a pre-neolithic matriarchal family who find an object which brings to them a guiding monotheistic voice. Their saga spans a millennia tracing from the Crimea to the 12,000 year old temple of Gobekli Tepe at the border of modern day Turkey and Syria, the middle of the next world war in 2021. A yin-yang relationship builds in modern day between a strong determined Kurdish woman of deep faith, Zara, and an atheistic alien believing naive editor from California, Peter, whose clashes are moderated by a former Catholic priest.A series of oral traditions and family artifacts brings these three culturally and religiously diverse people together to solve the 12,000 year old mystery of an object which spawned a faith which could bring peace or destruction to their times. The principal female characters of 9600 BCE, Nanshe, and 2021, Zara, are both survivors of capture and sexual slavery by brutal patriarchal forces of their times. Nanshe¿s story follows how through faith and determination she rebuilt herself and her family from her captivity, which ultimately provides Zara a vision of her way of rebuilding herself fully in the midst of impending chaos in her world.

This is Dawning of the Matriarch Society: The Extinction Riddle Solution. All the great nations face a fertility crisis. An enlightened poet comes to tell them why, and that the news gets worse, delivering a bitter cure to a utopian future. Infertility stalks America and, indeed, the world as it has done to all vanquished cultures. Science and the reproduction experts have hoodwinked American women into believing that making babies is as easy as growing fungus in a petri dish. Let us call it making babies without benefit of love. By default, the event places no importance on the act of sexual love. It is the zenith of cultural misplaced adulation and amoral desperation as reflected in government for these many years. Author Alan Paine claims guidance from the divine feminine in bringing an answer to what is a riddle perhaps hundreds of thousands of years old. Why can we no longer reproduce? Such is the riddle of humanity, and it is, at long last, answered here. Predicted by the current Dalai Lama and even Nostradamus, Dawning of the Matriarch Society is prophecy come to life. It is born of timeless tears and forged in mystical fires of cosmic creation. Where spirituality meets reason waits the last renaissance.

This volume is written in the context of trauma hermeneutics of ancient Jewish communities and their tenacity in the face of adversity (i.e. as recorded in the MT, LXX, Pseudepigrapha, the Deuterocanonical books and even Cognate literature. In this regard, its thirteen chapters, are concerned with the most recent outputs of trauma studies. They are written by a selection of leading scholars, associated to some degree with the Hungaro-South African Study Group. Here, trauma is employed as a useful hermeneutical lens, not only for interpreting biblical texts and the contexts in which they were originally produced and functioned but also for providing a useful frame of reference. As a consequence, these various research outputs, each in their own way, confirm that an historical and theological appreciation of these early accounts and interpretations of collective trauma and its implications, (perceived or otherwise), is critical for understanding the essential substance of Jewish cultural identity. As such, these essays are ideal for scholars in the fields of Biblical Studies—particularly those interested in the Pseudepigrapha, the Deuterocanonical books and Cognate literature.
