The Double Lie Murder is a story about the early morning murder of a seemingly innocent housewife without any apparent motive. Her husband is a strange, secretive man who immediately becomes suspect. Seven of her friends decide he isn't guilty even though much of the evidence points to him. They try to defend him and in the course of the investigation they begin to undercover clues that the police have missed. They meet his family at the funeral and form very strong opinions about them. His family try to maintain a low profile but have believed two lies that when discovered reveal the culprit.

The Tower Murder is the story of the murder of a mysterious gentleman from Belgium that takes place at a carrillon tower in a small town in Georgia. The murder happens just after seven elderly ladies on a bus tour arrived for what was to be a rather long visit to hear the lovely music of the bells. The seven ladies befriend an escaped fugitive and apply their considerable detective skills to the frustration and edification of local police. Nina Gilfert was born with a love of words. She soon began to put them together in stories and poems. She now lives in Florida and writes a weekly column for The Daily Commercial newspaper of Leesburg. This is the second of three Seven Senior Sleuth books.

Dead in the Shower is about the discovery of a naked body in the shower of the exercise and pool area of the recreation building of a small senior community in Florida called Crane’s Roost. The body was discovered by one of our senior sleuths who had joined the security committee of Crane’s Roost and was doing her duty by closing up the facilities for the night. When the county deputies arrived on the scene so did the lady’s friends to help solve the mystery.
