Monell, M.D., of Omaha, who died suddenly September 29, 1881. For many years, in accordance with his early education, he gave an unquestioned adherence to the verbal inspiration of the Old and New Testament and to the doctrines of the orthodox churches, considering these essential to a belief in Christianity.
