Feeling called of God to a ministry to children, she earned a degree in Christian Education from Northeastern Bible Institute, and subsequently taught children in Bible Clubs in the New York Metropolitan area. Robbie is married to a retired Army Chaplain, and as an Army wife, has accompanied her husband to various assignments in the United States and overseas. During their 30 years of military service, she was active in the community, serving as a Red Cross volunteer, chapel teacher, mentor and hostess.
