This new edition of the work first published in 1985 incorporates changes that have arisen through the extension of jurisdiction to the Family Court. Chapters dealing with High Court Rules and District Court Rules have been rewritten. The chapter on claims under the Matrimonial Property Act 1963 had been revised to take into account decisions made in the years since the book first appeared. The increasing number of claims under the Law Reform (Testamentary Promises) Act 1949 has led to further revision.
