We survey the field of strange particle nuclear physics, starting with the spectroscopy of strangeness S = -1 [Lambda] hypernuclei, proceeding to an interpretation of recent data on S = -2 [Lambda][Lambda] hypernuclear production and decay, and finishing with some speculations on the production of multi-strange nuclear composites (hypernuclei or strangelets'') in relativistic heavy ion collisions. 41 refs., 5 figs.
