Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Quran and Hadith Studies Information Technology and Media in Conjunction with the 1st International Conference on Islam, Science and Technology, ICONQUHAS & ICONIST, Bandung, October 2-4, 2018, Indonesia Now-days, Multimedia devices offer opportunities in transforming the Quran and Hadith into different forms of use, and into extended areas of studies. Technology information offers challenges as well as opportunity. Therefore, Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN (the State Islamic University) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held jointly the 2nd International Conference on Qur’an and Hadith Studies (ICONQUHAS 2018) and the 1st International Conference on Islam, Science, and Technology (ICONIST2018), with the theme “Qur’an-Hadith, Information Technology, and Media: Challenges and Opportunities”. This conference aims at bringing together scholars and researchers to share their knowledge and their research findings. This publication resulted from the selected papers of these conferences

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Contemporary Risk Studies During COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenge and Opportunities (ICONICRS) 2022, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, in March – April 2022. The 56 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from high number of submitted papers. The papers reflect the conference sessions as follows: Energy and Risk Assessment, Environmental Social and Governance, Risk Management and Good Corporate Governance, Contemporary Economy and Geopolitical Risk, Risk Communication, Cyber Security, and Digital Risk, Finance, Human Capital, Marketing, and Operation, Operational Risk (including Technology, Construction, and Engineering).

This is an open access book. With the rapid advancement of augmented reality, blockchain, and the internet, the metaverse is now within reach like never before. Companies are continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation to cater to the ever-evolving needs of consumers. They employ a diverse range of strategies to elevate the value of their products and stay ahead of the competition. However, not every company manages to achieve this feat, often due to resource limitations and the ability to understand dynamic market trends. The 20th INSYMA (International Symposium on Management) is bringing you further into the metaverse. This year’s theme is “The Metaverse and Beyond: Opportunity or Disaster? New Realities In Workplaces.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our activities, like teaching, researching, and socializing. We are confused because we haven’t experienced before. However, as Earth's smartest inhabitants, we can adapt new ways to survive the pandemic without losing enthusiasm. Therefore, even in pandemic conditions, we can still have scientific discussions, even virtually. The main theme of this symposium is "Reinforcement of the Sustainable Development Goals Post Pandemic" as a part of the masterplan of United Nations for sustainable development goals in 2030. This symposium is attended by 348 presenters from Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Scotland, Thailand, Taiwan, Tanzania and Timor Leste which published 202 papers. Furthermore, we are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the 2nd Borobudur Symposium Borobudur on Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 (2nd BIS-HSS 2020). We hope our later discussion may result transfer of experiences and research findings from participants to others and from keynote speakers to participants. Also, we hope this event can create further research network.

This is an odd book. An extensive and sometimes annotated bibliography, it is not a book in the sense of a narrative. However, if treated as a book in the traditional sense it leads the reader through a broad spectrum of feelings of amazement, curiosity and desire: amazement about the sheer volume, richness and detail of theliterature on Batavia/Jakarta; curiosity about the contents of certain publications or series of publications with attractive titles; and a feeling of desire immediately to begin an investigation into one of the appealing subjects stumbled upon while leafing through. The bibliography contains over 5000 titles classified into 42 broad subject categories. The vast majority of the publications consists of books, but the number of articles is also very substantial. Most of these titles (3500) were produced after 1950. The larger part of the publications are written in Indonesian, Dutch, and to a lesser extent English. But also publications in such languages as French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Russian, and many others were listed. Indexes of authors, of subjects and of titles make this bibliography easily accessible.
