The pace of modern life is undoubtedly speeding up, yet this acceleration does not seem to have made us any happier or more content. Magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) is a medical imaging technique that combines magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with mechanical vibrations to generate maps of viscoelastic properties of biological tissue.
