A report on an analysis and recommendations concerning planning and the implementation of plans in Ft. Myers, Florida, including the following: a general discussion of the planning and implementation process; post and current planning activities in Ft. Myers, the requirements and implications of the Florida Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act of 1975; a discussion of the city's basic implementation tools for planning; recommendations for establishing a continuing planning program; a bibliography and assessment of planning materials available to the city; materials relating to revision of the city's zoning ordinance; a suggested PUD ordinance; and proposed subdivision regulations.
