L., entitled An act to provide revenue and civil government for Porto Rico, and for other pur poses, and also in pursuance of section 130 of the political code of Porto Rico, approved March 12, 1902. The statistical data presented in this report relate to the year ended June 30, 1906, but in accordance with established custom, the text treats of all matters of interest in connection with the schools of Porto Rico which may have occurred up to September 1, 1906.
