These proceedings constitute a selection of best papers from the 3rd International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences, Innovative Models to Revive the Global Economy, ICESS 2020, held in Bucharest, Romania, in October 2020. This book is a collection of research findings and perspectives related to recent economic challenges determined by the global crisis due to COVID 19, led by the set of improvements and changes in the economic, societal, and technological structures and processes towards the effort of reaching the sustainability goals. During a crisis, countries, and businesses must respond promptly to ensure survival. They need to rethink social contracts, redefine work and consumption, mobilize resources at speed and scale, and at the same time rethink patterns from global to local. The innovative models presented in this book aim to ensure simultaneous economic development, social development, and environmental protection, to achieve a higher quality of life for all people, and protect all living beings and the planet.

This year’s Conference is characterized by the research contributions of Scientists from Cyprus, England, Saudi Arabia and Greece. This year’s Conference is organized by the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects, which is a non-profit Company with Articles of Association registered in the Chamber of Non-for- profit organizations. This Conference is a continuation, in a broader sense, of the four International Conferences which were organized by myself during the years 2003, 2009, 2013, and 2015, under the auspices of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, as well as the 1st and 2nd International Conference on Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Issues, during the years 2017, 2018, Athens. The International Conferences of the years 2017, 2018, were organized under the Auspices of the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects which is based in Athens, Greece and has links with an International group of Academics. This Conference is focusing on the impact of Education on the innovation process, the productivity and the well-balanced development of a country. The findings of (Varsakelis, Volume 35, Issue 7, September 2006, Pages 1083-1090, ELSEVIER) support the hypothesis that the higher the investment of a society in the quality of education, the higher the output of innovation activity. Furthermore, the development level of the governmental institutions is positively correlated with innovation activity. The aim of this Conference is to become a forum for the analysis of subjects related to the Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Sciences, the present state in Greece for the sectors of Education, Health, Innovative Business and the lessons learnt from them, in the context of the serious economic crisis in Europe and, particularly, in Greece. This Conference, also, is the opportunity for many highly respected scientists to present and exchange ideas in their respective research areas with the aim of initiating new joint projects. The new developments in the sectors of contemporary Science and Economy are important and the need for a clear and responsible information is very high regarding, also, the possibility of fake news through the Internet.

These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 15th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE 2020), hosted by Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT), Italy on 17-18 September 2020. The Conference Chair is Prof. Alessandro De Nisco and the Programme Chair is Adjunct Professor Emilio Sassone Corsi, both from Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT), Italy. ECIE is a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 15th year, the key aim remains the opportunity for participants to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The conference was due to be held at Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT), Italy, but due to the global Covid-19 pandemic it was moved online to be held as a virtual event. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research. The keynote presentation is given by Dr. Kenneth A. Grant, from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada on the topic of The Special Case of the University Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. During the second day of the conference there will be a plenary session entitled NoBORDER INNOVATION - African & European Models of Teaching Entrepreneurship & Innovation. With an initial submission of 251 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 92 Academic research papers, 15 PhD research papers, 4 Masters Research papers and 4 work-in-progress papers published in these Conference Proceedings. This book contains the proceedings of the International Conference on Law, Social Science, Economics, and Education (ICLSSEE 2023) on 6 May 2023 in Indonesia. This conference was held in collaboration with Nusantara Training and Research (NTR) at Universitas Borobudur, Jakarta, Indonesia. Papers from the conference are collected in a book of proceedings entitled: Proceedings of the International Conference on Law, Social Sciences, Economics, and Education (ICLSSEE 2023). Presentations from the conference covering these disciplines will provide a lot of inspiring input and new treasures on law, social sciences, economics, and education, especially after the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thus, it will contribute to the next generation of young researchers to generate innovative research findings and ideas. The hope is that scientific attitudes and skills through research will encourage the development of knowledge produced through research from various scholars in various regions. Finally, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all of the steering committee colleagues for their cooperation in organizing the conference. Hopefully, these seminars and conferences can be continued in the coming years with more insightful articles from inspiring research.
