The International Conference on ICT for Digital, Smart, and Sustainable Development (ICIDSSD’20) aims to provide an annual platform for the researchers, academicians, and professionals from across the world. ICIDSSD’20, held at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, is the second international conference of this series of conferences to be held annually. The conference majorly focuses on the recent developments in the areas relating to Information and Communication Technologies and contributing to Sustainable Development. ICIDSSD’20 has attracted research papers pertaining to an array of exciting research areas. The selected papers cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to Sustainable Development, Green Computing, Smart City, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, IoT, ANN, Cyber Security, and Data Science. Papers have primarily been judged on originality, presentation, relevance, and quality of work. Papers that clearly demonstrate results have been preferred. We thank our esteemed authors for having shown confidence in us and entrusting us with the publication of their research papers. The success of the conference would not have been possible without the submission of their quality research works. We thank the members of the International Scientific Advisory Committee, Technical Program Committee and members of all the other committees for their advice, guidance, and efforts. Also, we are grateful to our technical partners and sponsors, viz. HNF, EAI, ISTE, AICTE, IIC, CSI, IETE, Department of Higher Education, MHRD and DST for sponsorship and assistance.

This is the digital version of the printed book (Copyright © 2005). If you develop software without understanding the requirements, you're wasting your time. On the other hand, if a project spends too much time trying to understand the requirements, it will end up late and/or over-budget. And products that are created by such projects can be just as unsuccessful as those that fail to meet the basic requirements. Instead, every company must make a reasonable trade-off between what's required and what time and resources are available. Finding the right balance for your project may depend on many factors, including the corporate culture, the time-to-market pressure, and the criticality of the application. That is why requirements management—gathering requirements, identifying the "right" ones to satisfy, and documenting them—is essential. Just Enough Requirements Management shows you how to discover, prune, and document requirements when you are subjected to tight schedule constraints. You'll apply just enough process to minimize risks while still achieving desired outcomes. You'll determine how many requirements are just enough to satisfy your customers while still meeting your goals for schedule, budget, and resources. If your project has insufficient resources to satisfy all the requirements of your customers, you must read Just Enough Requirements Management.

Personalized and adaptive systems employ user models to adapt content, services, interaction or navigation to individual users’ needs. User models can be inferred from implicitly observed information, such as the user’s interaction history or current location, or from explicitly entered information, such as user profile data or ratings. Applications of personalization include item recommendation, location-based services, learning assistance and the tailored selection of interaction modalities. With the transition from desktop computers to mobile devices and ubiquitous environments, the need for adapting to changing contexts is even more important. However, this also poses new challenges concerning privacy issues, user control, transparency, and explainability. In addition, user experience and other human factors are becoming increasingly important. This book describes foundations of user modeling, discusses user interaction as a basis for adaptivity, and showcases several personalization approaches in a variety of domains, including music recommendation, tourism, and accessible user interfaces.

As organizations and research institutions continue to emphasize model-driven engineering (MDE) as a first-class approach in the software development process of complex systems, the utilization of software in multiple domains and professional networks is becoming increasingly vital. Advances and Applications in Model-Driven Engineering explores this relatively new approach in software development that can increase the level of abstraction of development of tasks. This publication covers the issues of bridging the gaps between various disciplines within software engineering and computer science. Professionals, researchers, and students will discover the most current tools and techniques available in the field to maximize efficiency of model-driven software development.

This handbook provides a unique and in-depth survey of the current state-of-the-art in software engineering, covering its major topics, the conceptual genealogy of each subfield, and discussing future research directions. Subjects include foundational areas of software engineering (e.g. software processes, requirements engineering, software architecture, software testing, formal methods, software maintenance) as well as emerging areas (e.g., self-adaptive systems, software engineering in the cloud, coordination technology). Each chapter includes an introduction to central concepts and principles, a guided tour of seminal papers and key contributions, and promising future research directions. The authors of the individual chapters are all acknowledged experts in their field and include many who have pioneered the techniques and technologies discussed. Readers will find an authoritative and concise review of each subject, and will also learn how software engineering technologies have evolved and are likely to develop in the years to come. This book will be especially useful for researchers who are new to software engineering, and for practitioners seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge.
