This is an open access book. The International Conference on Educational Technology and Management (ICEMT) is held to bring together academics, researchers, teachers, educational entrepreneurs, practitioners, and policy makers. They are responsible for implementing educational technology by leveraging resources through education management to create and enable ecosystem capabilities and access to education. The Covid-19 pandemic teaches that aspects of information and communication technology in education management are full of limitations. Inevitably, educational users have moved dramatically to online channels. Students and teachers are accustomed to learning from home. There are opportunities, as well as challenges. Although the pandemic isn’t over yet, future updates are needed.

Study after study shows that as students grow, they become increasingly focused on technology-driven communication. Cyber-dialogue replaces face-to-face interactions in all aspects of their lives. And yet, has there ever been a greater need for students to learn the art of "talk," to be able to converse "live" with others, to collaborate, negotiate, and learn from one another? To use talk to think, and to build new ideas? Maria Nichols guides us beyond teaching students to talk politely about books to teaching them to have meaningful conversations-purposeful talk that serves as a tool for constructing understanding with others. She provides a flexible process that gives teachers a solid foundation in facilitating discussions, allowing them to meet the challenges of unpredictable, exploratory talk in the elementary classroom. Proceedings of the 7th Annual International Seminar on Transformative Education and Educational Leadership (AISTEEL 2022) contains several papers that have presented at the seminar with theme “Technology and Innovation in Educational Transformation”. This seminar was held on 20 September 2022 and organized by Postgraduate School, Univesitas Negeri Medan and become a routine agenda annually. The 7th AISTEEL was realized this year with various presenters, lecturers, researchers and students from universities both in and out of Indonesia. The 7th AISTEEL presents 4 distinguished keynote speakers from Universitas Negeri Medan - Indonesia, Murdoch University-Australia, Curtin University Perth-Australia, University Malaya – Malaysia, Monash University - Australia, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland. In addition, presenters of parallel sessions come from various Government and Private Universities, Institutions, Academy, and Schools. Some of them are those who have sat and will sit in the oral defence examination. The plenary speakers have been present topics covering multi disciplines. They have contributed many inspiring inputs on current trending educational research topics all over the world. The expectation is that all potential lecturers and students have shared their research findings for improving their teaching process and quality, and leadership. There are 162 papers passed through rigorous reviews process and accepted by the committee. This is an open access book. The rapid advancement of technology has created new civilization in this digital era which affects almost all aspects of life including language, literature, culture, and education. The digital era brings opportunities as well as challenges that people have to deal with. Thus, some adjustments need to be done in order to keep up with those changes. Studies on language, literature, culture, and education need to be continuously conducted and developed to revitalize those aspects in facing the dynamic changes of the digital era. In relation to this, Faculty of Language and Literature Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPBS UPI) hosts this year’s International Conference on Language, Literature and Culture (ICOLLITE) with the theme “Revitalization of Language, Literature, Culture, and Education in the Digital Era” as a forum for experts and professionals to share their research, ideas, and experiences on this issue. Presenters and participants are welcome to discuss and disseminate current issues and offer solutions to the challenges of our time. Discussions on current trends in digital literacies are expected to pave way to learn from each other for betterment as one big society of humankinds, regardless of their social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
