This series of poems was written over the course of two weeks, between two writing workshops. Originally, I intended to explore a different genre, but I quickly discovered that poetry was what resonated with me most. These poems are deeply connected to the essence of this summer, which is why I chose the title for this collection. Capturing my lived experiences through poetry was both exhilarating and healing. Each piece was crafted with a specific moment or feeling in mind, allowing me to process and express the intensity of those experiences.

A lot of poetry through all the different stages of grief. A shimmer of hope, and a lot of self loathing.

In a city [Berlin] where neon lights shimmer like distant stars and shadows conceal the truth, lies a lonesome girl caught in the throes of a love that was never hers to claim. This collection of poems dives into her raw, unfiltered world, a place where love is a losing game, drugs and pills are not good to combine, loneliness is the only friend, and co-addiction drags her deeper into the abyss. Every verse is a dose of reality, stripped bare, no frills. But somewhere in the wreckage, theres a sparka quiet defiance. She wont let the darkness take everything. These arent just poems; theyre a stand against the fall, a testament to the stubborn grit that keeps us all moving, even when the world around us falls apart.

This book contains a collection of essays and poems. Most of the pieces are about negative emotions and longing for something more. They try to capture the reality some of us have to face in situations in their life. The purpose of publishing these poems is making people feel understood.

thinking in poems is a collection of thoughts on relationships, poly explorations, friends, loss and grief. grief not only about people but places, wishes for the future, and a hurting planet. it describes the feeling of navigating the world as a young woman, angry, sad, melancholic and at times punishingly true. it is a collection that aspires to bring to live thoughts for the future, about the relations we could form, the work we could do, to articulate what we strive for. to articulate: whats next?
