A swirling 1960s saga of the rise and fall of a true American icon. Rock Foxx is a rock star. But he is not just any rock star - Rock is an outrageous showman whose unprecedented mixed-race, mixed-gender band creates a new, socially conscious kind of music. Then, at the height of his fame, Rock suddenly disappears. In the hands of New Yorker editor Ben Greenman, this pseudo-bio of a fascinating character becomes both highly literary and immensely entertaining, a tale about rock'n'roll and about a complicated but key moment in American history.

Many strategic change efforts fail. And virtually all of them are harder than they need to be. Why is this? And what can we do to make change more likely to stick? Dr. Elsbeth Johnson, a former equity analyst and London Business School Professor now teaching at MIT, has spent a decade researching how to deliver strategic change in practice. Based on asking managers what they needed from leaders, rather than just asking leaders what they did, her resulting Step Up, Step Back approach challenges some of our most fundamental beliefs about how to lead change – and indeed, about what we even consider to be 'leadership'. The Step Up, Step Back approach suggests leaders need to step up and do more than they typically do in the early stages of the change – in specific ways and at specific times; and then step back and do less than they typically do in the later stages of the change – again, in specific ways, at specific times. The result is not only change that sticks, but empowered, motivated managers who can get on with delivering change, without needing ongoing input or cover from leaders. Using real-world examples of how to apply the science in practice, Step Up, Step Back gives you a roadmap for how to deliver strategic change in your organization.

Unexpectedly, the ancient Greek God, Apollo, receives an inadvertent tweet from Donald Trump asking him to attend a White House rally. While there, Apollo encounters a personification of Dearth who received a similar tweet. The two overhear an argument between Donald Trump and Uncle Sam regarding the eight Pillars of Truth (Ethics, Integrity, Honesty, Loyalty, Courtesy, Reverence, Honor, and Justice) who President Trump has sent to hell. When Apollo, Dearth, and Uncle Sam decide to travel to hell to retrieve the Pillars of Truth, they meet Hades who is unable to find a place for the radiant Pillars. After listening to a discussion between Hades and each of the Pillars, Apollo devises a plan to bring the Pillars back to the United States. When Apollo, Uncle Sam, Dearth, and the Pillars of Truth return to the White House, the Greek God’s plan unfurls as he involves twelve of Trump’s followers, as a jury, and eventually has Dearth escort Trump, Fruity Rudy, Moscow Mitch, Bad Bar, and the Fox to see Hades. But what will happen when the audience becomes part of the plan? The Trumpestiad is a timely political satire that humorously brings into focus many of the bizarre events that have taken place in the United States for the past three years.
