One isolated and one archaeological location were identified by the Phase I survey. A twentieth-century house site was centrally located within the project area on aerial photographs of the property. The survey of the location revealed that the house had been demolished and removed.

The Phase I identification survey was performed for Stanley Martin Companies, Inc., and builds upon a Phase IA assessment conducted by Thunderbird Archeological Associates, Inc. While the Phase I was conducted prior to the purchase of the property by SMCI, the report is required as a component of the Prince William County's Rezoning Application. The proposed development will be a housing development that covers much of the uplands associated with the project area.

A Phase I archaeological survey of approximately 9.5 acres that may be impacted by the construction of a new residential development, entrance road, and associated infrastructure in Prince William County, Virginia.
