Un omaggio al paziente e meticoloso lavoro di ricerca sul Vangelo che esprime chiaramente la Sua vocazione al servizio della Chiesa militante, come direbbe s. Ignazio: non e facile applicare la critica razionale alla metodologia biblica senza scendere a compromessi con la fede e con l'integrita della vita religiosa. Senz'altro, P. Stock ha saputo coniugare la Sua forza di credente con la fede e con la scienza. Ci auguriamo che quest'opera possa attrarre nuove vocazioni al servizio della Parola e dello studio esegetico.
