Recorda-nos Guattari que não é possível se pensar em uma única ecologia, principalmente por se compreender que refletir questões ambientais é sensibilizar-se, sobretudo das relações estabelecidas entre os grupos sociais do espaço terrestre. A escola contemporânea representa um espaço fértil para cultivarmos práticas e valores ligados a uma proposta pedagógica que permita o diálogo e o respeito à diversidade em todos os seus inúmeros formatos e configurações, sejam eles culturais, religiosos, sociais etc. Com esse pensamento, compreende-se a escola como sendo um espaço social-educativo, capaz de promover práticas diárias e propostas embasadas na sustentabilidade. Este pensamento contribui para a formação de uma escola sustentável, estimulando saberes e fazeres sustentáveis.
