In 1973, Sr. Agnes Sasagawa reported witnessing the Holy Eucharist emit dazzling light and surrounded by numerous worshiping angels at a Catholic convent in Akita, Japan. She then received four profound messages from the Blessed Virgin Mary. Soon after, hundreds of pilgrims observed a statue of the Blessed Virgin shed tears from 1975 until 1981.
