Excerpt from An Oration Delivered Before the Citizens of Charlestown on the Fifty-Second Anniversary Be it remembered, that on the tenth day of July, A.D. 1838, and in the fifty third year of the Independence of the United States of America, Wheildon & Raymond, of the said District, have deposited in this office, the title of a book, the right whereof they claim as proprietors, in the words following, to wit: - "An Oration delivered before the Citizens of Charlestown, on the fifty-second anniversary of the Declaration of the Independence of the United States of America. By Edward Everett."
