The nonlinear analysis was performed for the motion of a rolling reentry vehicle for the case of variable roll rate, dynamic pressure, and stability derivatives. The roll degree of freedom is coupled with the pitch and yaw degree of freedom instead of assuming a priori the variation of the roll rate.

This volume is the proceedings of the Atmospheric Flight Mechanics Conference, which took place in New Orleans, August 1997.
