The NZMJ is a scientific journal for the profession in New Zealand. The site features contents pages of the current and back issues, with abstracts of selected articles. Full-text content is provided to NZMA members free of charge and is available on subscription to non-members and institutions. The full text of articles less than 6 months old is available only to subscribers. Access is free to articles older than 6 months and abstracts.

Medical Law in New Zealand is an authoritative account of the law relating to health care in New Zealand. Litigation involving doctors established many of the relevant principles, but these principles apply equally to other health practitioners in their relations with patients. The book deals with matters that extend across this wide range of health practice.
