It may be mentioned in passing that it is quite doubtful if any of the inhabitants of this Sub Continent were aware that they were living in 'India' or that they were 'Indians' before the advent of the English rule that created a nation here.This is also a book that displays the author Rev. TRAVANCORE STATE MANUAL was written in the closing years of the 1800s.
