You keep them locked away in a secret place in your heart and only can be reached through the opening of your soul. That is where you hold your most treasured blessings. Only those treasures find there way into this chamber and only those treasures remain when others fall away. This special place is your soul's heart chest; its key is only found through the special corridor of your heart.Sometimes beautiful souls find there way into this special place. This is what makes them more than friends, more than soulmates, it makes them part of your heart, part of your soul. They become part of your most cherished treasures; they become part of your soul's heart chest where they are protected forever. I have been blessed with very few who have touched me in this way and I know that I am blessed beyond measure to have been touched by such rare treasures. It is within my soul's heart chest that I keep you forever protected. Your souls are more than amazing and beautiful doesn't even come close to describing you. You have lit my path in the darkness and helped me find my way home. You have reminded me that it's ok to be me, that it's ok to be wounded. That it's ok not to be perfect. Most importantly, you have accepted me for who I am and loved me for it in spite of it, unconditionally. To open up and receive the love you offer and give love back in return without fear.You will always be protected in my soul's heart chest. Where I keep all of my most treasured blessings and there you will stay forever. Pain, a constant companion, birthed verse—each line a product of anguish turned art. In the ebb and flow of life's challenges, I found solace in writing. What emerged were rhythmic verses, transforming suffering into poetry. Some reflect, others introspect; some offer insight, and others observe. Regardless, each verse is a product of life's trials and emotions. Surprisingly, these verses multiplied over the years. Today, I share them not for accolades, but to be heard amidst the chaos. I had always believed in the healing power of our Lord, and viewed my life as one of service to Him via the practice of medicine. But, in retrospect, I had a deeper trust in the power of modern medicine and science than I did in Jesus Christ and His fully accomplished work on the Cross. My thinking was flawed, but, as I grew in my walk with the Lord and meditated on Scripture more fully, I began to see the superiority of faith over the limited interventions modern medical science had to offer, and that this interplay between faith and science was not mutually exclusive, but complimentary, for the spiritual aspects of our lives illuminate and empower the carnal aspects of intellect and physical senses. I began jotting notes to myself related to this interplay of faith and healing and science, and just filed them away...for years. IThen, in December of 2017, a baby was born to a first time mother of mine, his little body riddled with the most fulminant form of acute lymphoblasic leukemia, almost always fatal. His absolutely miraculous healing was the impetus to start putting these thoughts into writing, in the form of weekday morning emails entitled “A Christian Doctor’s View of Healing, Faiith, and Science”. It was soon made clear to me that these writings were to take the form of a year long devotional book, comprised of short weekday messages that are intimately linked, such that they can be read through as a book. And that book was to paint a picture, and that picture was to be of a face, and the face was to be that of Jesus, for He is the source of all healing

This is my first book of poetry! I am a divorced mother of two teenage boys. I have been blessed with the gifts of being an intuitive, emotional and physical empath.
