This collection consists of records relating to the Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development Project. The mateials include reports, memoranda of agreement, correpsondence, forms, printed mateirals, contracts, and grant applications. UPRS 123B (94:1-2)

Records of Montana Dept. of Planning and Economic Development. Records include minutes (July, 1967-June, 1972); and a report (1967) entitled "Organizational structure and functional purpose of the State Department of Planning and Economic Development" prepared by W.D. Diehl. Also included is a work plan (n.d.) for the Economic Development Association of Eastern Montana.

These records consist of reports (1974-1980) by the Montana Department of Community Affairs, the Department of Intergovernmental Relations, the Department of Highways, the Economic Development Task Force, the Coal Board, the Montana Economic Opportunity Office, and the City of Helena, concerning the various components of Montana's economy, and proposals to influence the direction and type of economic development.

The Montana Department of Commerce's Business Resources Division coordinated the Montana Main Street Program. This program was designed to encourage local communities to revitalize their downtowns through historic preservation. The records (2005-2006) consist of applications for assistance from the communities of Anaconda, Choteau, Fairview, Libby, Livingston, Polson, Red Lodge, and Stevensville. (11:8-2).
