Achieving his clinic's independence leaves Glenn suddenly swamped with work. He's treating a Gigas for heatstroke, caring for a sunburnt mermaid, and performing health examinations on the final candidates for Lindworm ambassador to the human realm! And if that wasn't enough, when Illy and Plum--the candidates in question--start feuding over something petty, Glenn finds himself tasked with patching up their relationship as well as their wounds.

Lindworm mourns their doctor as Glenn's fiancees frantically seek a way to bring him back. Meanwhile, Glenn's soul wanders a strange, misty realm where he meets a surprising new patient--the Queen of the Underworld, who says she will restore him to life if and only if he can cure her malady. But can a doctor of the living make a difference in the land of the dead? Glenn's life might just depend on it!

Assembling a team that consists of their old teacher Dr. Cthulhy, seductive arachne seamstress Arahnia, and a young cyclops girl, Glenn and Sapphee prepare to perform complex and dangerous surgery on the childlike dragon. However, the biggest obstacle they have to overcome might just be Skadi's own unwillingness to be treated!
