Ce travail comporte deux parties. Dans la première, une modélisation des transferts couplés par convection, conduction et rayonnement, au sein d'un milieu poreux semi-transparent confiné dans une cavité inclinable chauffée différentiellement est proposée. Le transfert radiatif est évalué par un modèle gris à deux-flux, les mouvements de convection dans le milieu poreux étant modélisés sur la base de l'hypothèse de BOUSSINESQ et de la loi de DARCY. Les équations sont résolues à partir d'un schéma de différences finies. Des résultats numériques sont présentés pour des laines de verre dont les paramètres radiatifs sont déterminés expérimentalement. La détermination expérimentale des' coefficients d'absorption, de diffusion d'un paramètre caractérisant la forme de la fonction de phase, de laines de verre, constitue la deuxième partie de ce travail. Ces coefficients sont obtenus à partir d'une méthode d'optimisation dans laquelle des mesures de transmittance sont comparées avec les valeurs théoriques correspondantes calculées à partir d'un modèle de transfert radiatif basé sur la méthode des ordonnées discrètes et la fonction de phase d'HENYEY-GREENSTEIN. Ces mesures de transmittance spectrale, bidirectionnelle ou unidirectionnelle, ont été effectuées sur un dispositif mis au point dans le cadre de ce travail. Elles ont permis de déterminer les paramètres radiatifs pour des longueurs d'onde comprises entre 2μm et 10,5μm. Ces valeurs ont été compares aux résultats de la théorie de MIE et l'influence de la température sur ces paramètres étudiée pour une gamme de températures comprises entre 20°C et 400°C
