Milk Sop Sam got his name because he lives on a dairy farm and the milking boy would squirt him with milk from Bess the cow. Sam convinces Bess to help him catch fish in the little river. It doesn't work out quite as planned.

When Milk Sop Sam's farm gets a tractor, he knows the real horses will soon disappear. So he and the dog, Jack the Sniffer come up with a plan to rescue the horses.
